Ah, directional lightsourcing. Something that I’m learning more and more about. Fantasy themed miniatures tend to use coloured lighting from unusual angles to create dramatic effects. Plus, the whole face in the flame thing is a good reference to the face in the Magic Mirror of Snow White’s Evil Queen.
