Faeries tend to be weak creatures unless used in swarms to attack. However, that leaves the player unable to block in the early game. So championing a fae into this card becomes attractive. In fact, multiples uses of this card to champion a single creature means it gains several ‘lives’ to survive against attacks, blocks and spells.
